Add Lane

When creating a new lane, you’ll be able to add all the important details and settings to get your new lane ready for bookings right away. It’s a straightforward process designed to help you expand your venue’s capacity with minimal hassle.

  • Log in to the Venue Owner Dashboard.
  • Navigate to the Main Navigation Menu.
  • Select “Account Settings.”
  • Choose “Manage Lanes” from the options.
  • Access or edit the “Add Lane” section within the “Manage Lanes” settings.

Enter a name for your lane. This could be a simple number like “Lane 1” or a more specific identifier like “Axe Throwing” or “Golf Simulator”.

Enter a URL-friendly version of your lane name (called a slug). For example, if your lane name is “Lane 1”, your slug might be “lane-1” – use lowercase letters and hyphens instead of spaces.

A slug is part of the URL used to access your lane’s page. For example, if your website is mybowling.com/lanes/, and your lane slug is “vip-lane”, the full URL would be mybowling.com/lanes/vip-lane.

Choose the language for this lane from the dropdown menu. This setting determines which language will be displayed to customers when they view this lane.

Choose whether this lane is “Active” (available for booking) or “Inactive” (hidden from customers). Set a lane to Inactive when it is under maintenance or temporarily unavailable.

Enter the total number of lanes available for this booking type (e.g. axe throwing lanes or golf simulators). This will tell the system how many lanes can be booked at one time.

Check this box if you want to limit how many bookings can be made in one time slot. Once checked, you can enter your maximum number in the field below.

if you have 8 lanes and set the maximum to 3, only three parties can book lanes during the same time period, even if there are more lanes available.

Specify the quantity of rooms available for party bookings and provide the relevant room numbers.

Configure the analytics settings:

  • Facebook Pixel Id: Enter the Facebook Pixel id here.
  • Google Analytics Id: Provide the Google Analytics id here.
  • Google Tag Manager Id: Add the Google Tag Manager id here.

For the booking page label, you can customize the text that appears on the form dropdown by entering your desired label text.

This heading pertains to the customization of the label associated with selecting the booking type.

Under this heading, you can customize the label corresponding to the number of adults field.

This section focuses on customizing the label for the number of children field.

To establish “Send Email” as the default setting in the admin booking, you can easily enable or disable this option based on your preference.

To define the reservation cut-off time, utilize this option to set a time limit ranging from 1 hour to 24 hours. Choose the desired duration based on your specific requirements.
