Booking Email

The Booking Emails section within the Automations and Emails settings offers a centralized space for customizing and managing the content of emails related to bookings in your venue. This feature allows you to personalize and refine the communication sent to customers during the booking process. To access the Booking Emails section, follow these step points:
- Navigate to the Main Navigation Menu of the Venue Owner Dashboard.
- Click on “Automations” to access automated processes.
- Under “Emails,” select “Booking” to enter the dedicated interface for configuring booking-related emails.
Legends
“These legends contain “codes” that will appear “normally” to your customers. i.e. if you choose %deposit% and place it in your email. Wherever you place this the customers will see the word Deposit followed by the amount of deposit collected.
The following are the legends used in Booking Email templates:
%customer_name%:Displays the customer’s name.%booking_id%:Shows the unique identifier for the booking.%booking_created_at%:Indicates the date and time when the booking was created.%booking_date%:Displays the date of the booking.%booking_start_time%:Shows the start time of the booking.%booking_end_time%:Indicates the end time of the booking.%adults%:Displays the number of adults in the booking.%adult_price%:Shows the price for each adult.%children%:Displays the number of children in the booking.%child_price%:Shows the price for each child.%hst_amount%:Indicates the HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) amount.%deposit%:Displays the deposit amount.%sub_total%:Indicates the subtotal of the booking.%discount%:Displays any discount applied to the booking.%amount_due%:Shows the remaining amount due after deducting the deposit and discount.%total%:Indicates the total amount including all charges.%email_footer%:Displays the email footer content.%email_msg%:Shows any additional email message included.%waiver_link%:Provides a link to the waiver related to the booking.%booking_type%:Indicates the type of booking.%customer_phone%:Displays the customer’s phone number.%customer_email%:Shows the customer’s email address.%service_fee%:Indicates the service fee amount.%gratuity_fee%:Displays the gratuity fee amount.%addons_table%:Displays the add-ons table.%addons_total%:Displays the add-ons amount.
These legends are placeholders that get replaced with actual data when the email is sent. Make sure to save your changes after modifying the email template.

Additionally, if you prefer to start from scratch, you can remove the entire template and craft your personalized version.
For added convenience, the “SET DEFAULT CONTENT” button is available to quickly restore the default template, providing a reliable baseline for your email communication. This feature ensures that you can easily revert to the initial content structure whenever necessary.
Party Booking Email
In this section, you’ll find a default party template that serves as a starting point for your email content. You have the flexibility to modify the text and event details within this default template to align with your specific needs. Additionally, if you prefer to start from scratch, you can remove the entire template and craft your personalized version.
For added convenience, the “SET DEFAULT CONTENT” button is available to quickly restore the default template, providing a reliable baseline for your event communications. This feature ensures that you can easily revert to the initial content structure whenever necessary.”
Rental Booking Email
In this section, you’ll find a default rental template that serves as a starting point for your email content. You have the flexibility to modify the text and rental information within this default template to align with your specific needs. Additionally, if you prefer to start from scratch, you can remove the entire template and craft your personalized version.
For added convenience, the “SET DEFAULT CONTENT” button is available to quickly restore the default template, providing a reliable baseline for your rental communications. This feature ensures that you can easily revert to the initial content structure whenever necessary.
Ensure to click on the “SAVE” button after making any modifications to your email content. This action is crucial to preserve and apply the changes you’ve made, ensuring that your customized content is successfully stored and ready for use.
