Booking Text Message

The “Booking Text Message” feature, accessible through the Venue Owner Dashboard’s Automations section, allows you to customize and configure text messages sent to customers for booking-related notifications. By accessing this tool, you can tailor the content and formatting of text messages to suit your venue’s branding and communication style.

  • Access the Venue Owner Dashboard’s Main Navigation Menu.
  • Navigate to “Automations” from the menu options.
  • Select “Text Messages” from the Automations submenu.
  • Choose “Booking Text Message” to proceed with editing.

The Booking Text Message legends provide placeholders that dynamically insert specific booking-related information into the text messages sent to customers. These placeholders include details such as the customer’s name, booking ID, lane name, booking date and times, waiver link, tax amounts, pricing details for adults and children, discounts, deposit amounts, and total payment made by the customer.

Booking Text Message Legends:

  • %customer_name%: The name of the customer making the booking.
  • %booking_id%: The unique identifier for the booking.
  • %lane_name%: The name of the lane or area booked.
  • %booking_created_at%: The date and time when the booking was created.
  • %booking_date%: The date of the booking.
  • %booking_start_time%: The start time of the booking.
  • %booking_end_time%: The end time of the booking.
  • %waiver_link%: The link to the waiver associated with the booking.
  • %hst%: The Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) percentage.
  • %adults%: The number of adult participants.
  • %adult_price%: The price per adult.
  • %children%: The number of child participants.
  • %child_price%: The price per child.
  • %hst_amount%: The total amount of HST applied.
  • %discount%: Any discount applied to the booking.
  • %deposit%: The deposit amount paid for the booking.
  • %customer_payment_amount%: The total amount paid by the customer.

Here, you have access to a default, user-friendly template that allows you to modify both text and legends. Alternatively, you can choose to delete this template entirely and create one according to your preferences.

For added convenience, the “SET DEFAULT CONTENT” button is available to quickly restore the default template, providing a reliable baseline for your email communication.

Make sure to press the “SAVE” button after making any changes to preserve your configurations.
